Cheri has done it again with another sweet little project on her blog, and as of 6pm mine was pieced and ready to layer for quilting.
I'll be at a three hour infusion with The Husband tomorrow, so thought I'd take a break from my wool applique project for the morning and do some hand quilting.
I love Cheri's little monthly projects and they definitely keep me on my "one little quilt a month" schedule. Since it is only April 5th, I know I can whip up another one...Now don't I sound cocky!! I would be, except that I'm not perfect (enlarge the above photo and you'll be sure of that!) and won't push the boundaries of what I can actually do these days. Besides, I still need to set my Blessings Baskets. The setting pieces are all cut, and my baskets are pieced, but I ran off on a tangent when Cheri teased us with that chrome yellow!! Yes, indeed...she got me with that one.
Wishing you all a very happy Easter weekend (should you be celebrating the holiday). We are planning a very quiet one here for the first time in 32 years! It's time to sit back and let the younger generation do it up this year...I'm good with that. I am, really...
