An Early Valentine Day Gift

Look what I got today, an entire day early. I'm home with the yucky stomach virus that is going around, so the hubby thought I needed some cheering up. He was absolutely right, and I have been enjoying the sight of my beautiful roses most of the day!

They are simply grand...

I just love roses...I wish I could grow them in my garden. but they always succumb to black spot so I've given up. I remember the beautiful roses my father had growing in our yard when I was young. They were just gorgeous- especially the yellow ones. No black spot there...just a lovely row of roses along the fence line. Sweet memory....
